Hand-carved marble fireplaces, columns, and fireplace-with-column suites — Italian Carrara, Egyptian Sinai, and Botticino marble.
Marble Products from the Brass and Wood Atelier
Marble pieces define the most formal rooms — the salon fireplace, columns flanking a foyer, pedestals for sculpture. We work exclusively in natural marble from Italian and Egyptian quarries: Carrara white with grey veining, Botticino warm beige, Sinai cream-and-brown, and on request Marquina black or Verde Antico green. Slabs are hand-picked at the quarry, transported sealed, then cut and carved in our Cairo atelier. Our fireplace surrounds come in Louis XV (Rococo scrollwork), Louis XVI (fluted neoclassical), and Empire (sphinx-and-laurel) styles. Columns are available as decorative (hollow marble facing on steel core, for visual framing) or load-bearing (solid marble, with structural certification). We deliver in 4-6 numbered pieces with installation diagrams; we coordinate with local marble installers in major MENA capitals.

Common questions
What types of marble do you work with?
Italian Carrara (white with grey veining), Botticino (warm beige), Egyptian Sinai (cream with brown), and on request: Black Marquina or Verde Antico. We hand-pick slabs at the quarry.
Are the columns load-bearing or decorative?
Both options. Decorative columns are hollow marble facing over a steel core. Load-bearing columns are solid marble (commissioned, 4-week lead, structural certification on request).
How are marble fireplaces installed?
We ship in 4-6 pieces (mantel, surround, hearth, side panels) with installation diagram. Recommend a marble installer in your city; we coordinate referrals in major MENA capitals.
Do marble surfaces stain or need sealing?
Marble is naturally porous. We seal each piece before shipping; we recommend annual resealing with food-safe penetrating sealer. Avoid acidic spills (lemon, vinegar, wine) — wipe immediately.
