Salons & Living Rooms from the Brass and Wood Atelier

Our salon and living room collection is built around classical European silhouettes — the curved-back Louis XV bergère, the straight-arm Louis XVI canapé, the Rococo love seat with cabriole legs, the Empire daybed with gilt sphinx motifs. Frames are hand-carved beech and walnut in our Cairo workshop, finished with 22-karat leaf gilt or aged patina. Upholstery is Italian silk damask, Belgian woven jacquard, or genuine leather — your choice from swatches we send before production. Each set is built one at a time; we don't bulk-manufacture. The result is a salon suite that anchors the most important room in your home for generations, not seasons.

Common questions

Are the salon sets upholstered with real silk or damask?

Yes — we use Italian silk damask and Belgian woven fabrics on most pieces. Frame is hand-carved beech and walnut, finished with 22-karat leaf gilt or hand-applied patina. You choose the fabric; we send swatches before production.

How long does it take to receive a custom-ordered salon set?

8-12 weeks for full sets (sofa + 4 chairs + 2 armchairs). Our carving team works one set at a time. We send progress photos at each stage — frame, upholstery, finishing.

Can I order individual pieces from a set, or only complete sets?

Both. Most salon pieces are available individually — a single bergère armchair, a chaise lounge, a pouf. If you want a coordinated suite later, we keep the frame patterns in our records so additions match.

Do you ship full salon sets internationally?

Yes — DHL Express or sea freight depending on volume. Frames disassemble for transit (legs unscrew, backs detach). Crated, insured, zero damage in our last 200 international shipments.
