Sinuous cabriole legs, a shapely scalloped apron, and a richly veined rouge marble top combine to evoke the intimate grandeur of Versailles salons and Parisian hôtels particuliers.

Materials & Finish

The frame is constructed from solid hardwood and finished in a warm mahogany tone that deepens the visual richness of the hand-laid parquetry veneer on the apron. Each gilt brass mount — the foliate corner cartouches, the central shell motif, and the sabots at the feet — is cast and hand-chased in the antique-brass tradition, then gilded to a lustrous golden finish. The oval-edged rouge marble top, with its dramatic crimson and cream veining, crowns the piece with natural opulence.
