The frame is constructed from kiln-dried solid wood and dressed in a hand-applied gold leaf gilding that lends a warm, luminous depth impossible to replicate with spray finishes. Every carved surface — from the fluted tapered legs to the sunburst rosette details — is individually gilded and lightly antiqued to highlight the relief. The seat and bolster cushions are upholstered in a textured ivory bouclé fabric whose subtle loop weave adds contemporary softness to the classical form.
