Materials & Finish

The table is constructed from fine solid wood in a rich warm-brown tone, finished to a lustrous satin sheen. The tabletop features a quarter-matched veneer pattern framed by an inlaid stringing border, highlighting the natural figure of the wood. The apron is adorned with a hand-carved continuous dentil frieze — a hallmark of Louis XVI architecture — while polished gilt brass acanthus-leaf mounts crown each leg head, and brass bun feet complete the silhouette with period accuracy.

Craftsmanship
