Brass Vases from the Brass and Wood Atelier

Every vase in our collection starts with a brass armature — cast, turned, or hand-raised in our Cairo foundry — then paired with a hand-painted ceramic body or kept as solid brass with acanthus and floral relief. You'll find forest-green Rococo trophy cups with ornate brass handles, cobalt porcelain urns with gilt floral medallions, and slim Empire forms on fluted columns. Sizes range from 15cm accent pieces to 75cm mantel-scale statements. The gilt is applied by hand, not printed — it holds for decades if treated gently.

How we work

Solid brass. Cast in our Cairo foundry — weight you can feel.
Hand-finished. Chiseling, polishing, patina work on every piece.
Same-week delivery across egypt. Crated for transit, insured.
14-day returns. If the piece doesn't work, it returns.
Custom commissions. Chandeliers, large sculptures — 6-12 week lead.

Common questions

What sizes do your vases come in?

From 15cm accent pieces to 75cm mantel-scale statements. Most fall 25-45cm — suited to console tables, credenzas, and dining centerpieces.

Are the hand-painted ceramic bodies waterproof for real flowers?

Yes — ceramic bodies are glazed and food-safe. You can put water directly in them. For long-stem arrangements, use a liner to protect painted surfaces.

Can I order vases individually or only as sets?

Both. Most are available singly. If you want a coordinated trio, message us — we can match pieces from the same production run.

What's the difference between Rococo, Neoclassical, and Empire vases?

Rococo is asymmetric, floral, ornate (1730s). Neoclassical is symmetric, restrained, Greek/Roman-inspired (late 1700s). Empire is gilt-heavy, imposing, Napoleonic (early 1800s). All three appear in our collection.
