Design Inspiration

Rooted in the opulent courts of 18th-century France, this console table is a faithful homage to the Louis XV Rococo aesthetic. Asymmetric curves, organic motifs, and a sense of fluid movement define every silhouette — from the gently serpentine apron to the gracefully sweeping cabriole legs that end in delicate pad feet. The piece speaks the visual language of refinement and aristocratic leisure.

Materials & Finish

The frame is constructed from kiln-dried solid walnut, chosen for its structural integrity and warm, deep tones. The tabletop is dressed in a luxurious burl veneer, revealing nature's own swirling grain patterns that make every surface entirely unique. Drawer fronts contrast subtly in a rich dark walnut lacquer, while two ornate antique brass drop-bail pulls with scrolling foliate detail provide the finishing flourish.

Craftsmanship

Every joint is hand-fitted by Brass & Wood artisans in Egypt, following traditional European joinery techniques. The carved acanthus motifs at the knee of each cabriole leg are shaped by hand, ensuring no two consoles are identical. Multiple layers of hand-applied lacquer and hand-rubbed wax create a lustrous, durable surface worthy of a heritage interior.
