Rooted in the refined vocabulary of Louis XVI Neoclassicism, this TV cabinet translates the grandeur of 18th-century French court furniture into a fully functional media centre. Symmetrical composition, restrained geometry, and exquisitely placed ornamentation recall the workshops of the great Parisian ébénistes who furnished Versailles and the Petit Trianon.
The cabinet is constructed from solid hardwood and finished in hand-rubbed ivory lacquer that develops a soft, luminous warmth over time. A polychrome wave-and-ribbon marquetry frieze in burgundy, terracotta, and gold runs the full length of the top rail, while gilded brass corner brackets, scrolled feet, rosette door pulls, and foliate drawer handles are cast and hand-chased for precise detail.
Brass & Wood master craftsmen hand-carve every moulding, apply each layer of lacquer individually, and set the brass appliqués by hand. Two open side bays with adjustable shelving accommodate AV components, while twin cabinet doors with recessed marquetry panels conceal additional storage. A full-width bottom drawer with a sculpted brass pull completes the piece.
Whether anchoring a formal drawing room, a palatial bedroom, or a bespoke home-cinema lounge, this cabinet elevates every screen to an objet d'art. Each piece is made to order at the Brass & Wood atelier in Egypt, ensuring individual attention and heirloom-quality construction.
