Description

Royal Refinement at Every Hour of Tea

Inspired by the golden age of the French court, this two-tier tea trolley channels the opulent sensibility of the Louis XV Rococo period. The sinuous cabriole legs, the fluid organic lattice connecting both tiers, and the gently scalloped aprons all speak to an era when furniture was considered living sculpture — elegant, playful, and deeply human.

Materials of Distinction

The framework is constructed from kiln-dried solid mahogany, chosen for its rich reddish-brown grain and exceptional structural integrity. Every surface is finished to a deep hand-rubbed lustre, allowing the natural warmth of the wood to breathe beneath its refined patina. The ornamental mounts — from the interlocking floral-vine lattice to the cartouche centrepieces — are hand-cast in pure brass and finished in an antique gold ormolu tone, faithfully replicating the doré bronzes of eighteenth-century Parisian workshops.

Craftsmanship by Brass & Wood

Each piece is handcrafted in the Brass & Wood atelier in Egypt by artisans trained in classical European joinery and metalwork. The lattice framework between the tiers is individually assembled and secured by hand, ensuring no two trolleys are identical. The oval upper tray features a pierced brass gallery border — a hallmark of authentic period design — while brass sabots protect the tapered feet. This is not reproduction furniture; it is heirloom furniture made today.

A Statement for Living Rooms, Drawing Rooms & Boutique Hospitality

Whether placed beside a classic sofa set, within a grand hotel lobby, or at the centre of a collector's private study, this tea trolley commands attention and elevates every environment it graces.
