The desk is constructed from premium solid wood with a deep, book-matched veneer in warm rosewood and satinwood tones, creating a dramatic herringbone and parquet pattern on the apron panels. The top is dressed in an elaborate hand-cut marquetry tableau featuring a central flower basket surrounded by symmetrical floral sprays — a hallmark of the finest period workshops.
