Materials & Finish
The table is constructed from solid mahogany, hand-selected for its rich, warm grain. The tabletop features an intricate floral marquetry centrepiece surrounded by a chevron-book-matched veneer field, all painstakingly assembled by master craftsmen. Every apron, leg, and foot is adorned with antique-gold ormolu mounts — hand-cast in brass and individually chased — providing a luminous contrast against the deep reddish-brown wood.
Craftsmanship
Each table is entirely handmade at the Brass & Wood atelier in Egypt, where traditional European joinery techniques are combined with generations of artisanal expertise. The marquetry inlays are cut and fitted by hand, the ormolu mounts are finished by skilled metal artisans, and the wood receives multiple layers of hand-applied lacquer for depth and lasting protection.
