Rooted in the French Louis XV and Rococo tradition, this Brass & Wood dining table captures the graceful asymmetry and organic ornamentation that defined eighteenth-century European court furniture. Elegantly curved cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet, a shaped apron, and a centrally placed acanthus-and-floral gilt cartouche speak to the refinement of the era.
The table is constructed from solid wood with a rich medium-to-dark brown hand-rubbed finish that deepens the natural grain. The tabletop features a fine inlaid marquetry border rendered in a contrasting lighter wood, framed by a classical Greek key pattern. All carved ornamental elements — acanthus leaves, floral clusters, and scrolled knee details — are finished in antique gold gilding that harmonises with the warm wood tones.
Every piece is entirely handcrafted by Brass & Wood artisans in Cairo, combining traditional European joinery with hand-carving techniques passed down through generations. The apron profile is shaped and sanded by hand; gilt details are applied using time-honoured gilding methods to ensure lasting brilliance and depth.
This configurable dining table is available in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, and 32 seating capacity options to suit intimate family gatherings as well as grand banquet settings. Select your preferred seating capacity from the variant selector above.
