The Grand Demilune Dining Buffet draws from the refined tradition of French Louis XVI neoclassical furniture. Its signature demilune end cabinets and bold book-matched rosewood veneers create a dramatic yet balanced silhouette that anchors any formal dining room. The piece exudes aristocratic grandeur while remaining entirely functional.
Materials
Crafted from premium solid wood frames dressed in book-matched rosewood veneers, each panel showcasing the natural flame and grain patterns of the wood. Brass hardware — including ornate escutcheons, ring pulls, and column capitals — is finished in warm antique gold. Tapered, fluted legs are capped with solid brass sabots for an authentic period feel.
Craftsmanship
Every element of this buffet is assembled and finished by hand. The veneering process involves precision book-matching, edge-banding, and multiple coats of hand-rubbed lacquer to achieve a deep, lustrous surface. Brass fittings are individually cast and hand-polished. Interior compartments are fitted with adjustable shelving to accommodate varied dining storage needs.
Storage
The buffet features four hinged doors — two on the demilune end cabinets and two on the central cabinet — plus a row of three drawers across the top frieze, offering ample organised storage for tableware, linens, and serving accessories.
