This Brass & Wood buffet draws its soul from the refined elegance of Louis XVI neoclassical cabinetry. The demilune silhouette, cabriole legs, and hand-painted floral urns framed by gilded rope mouldings evoke the grandeur of 18th-century French palatial interiors. Every panel is a miniature canvas bearing bouquets, scrolling acanthus tendrils, and delicate arabesque garlands painted by skilled artisans.
The carcass is crafted from solid wood, finished in a warm ivory lacquer that serves as the ground for the hand-painted decoration. Gilded rope-twist and egg-and-dart mouldings applied along all edges amplify the period character. Brass keyhole escutcheons and hardware complement the gold tones of the painted ornament.
Each piece is handcrafted in the Brass & Wood Cairo atelier by specialist craftsmen trained in classical European joinery and decorative painting. The multi-stage painting process — base coat, hand-drawn motifs, shading, and protective varnish — ensures lasting vibrancy and depth of colour.
This buffet is available in widths of 200, 250, 300, 350, and 400 cm, making it suitable for intimate dining rooms as well as grand reception halls. Select your preferred width from the variant options above.
