Materials & Finish
The console is constructed from solid mahogany, providing an enduring structural foundation. The tabletop features an elaborate parquetry field of contrasting veneers, crowned by a central floral marquetry medallion that draws the eye with its botanical intricacy. Antique brass ormolu mounts — delicate swag garlands, rosette corner pieces, and lion-mask hardware — are applied across the frieze and legs, delivering the authentic gilded warmth synonymous with the Louis XVI period.
