Description

Design Inspiration

Drawing from the grandeur of the Victorian era, this cachepot unites the romantic tradition of Far-Eastern hand-painted porcelain with the ornamental richness of European decorative arts. Lush peonies in crimson and mauve bloom alongside a pair of exotic pheasants, set against a luminous ivory ground framed by a geometric border of deep jewel tones — a composition that evokes an imperial garden in full splendour.

Materials & Finish

The vessel is crafted from high-fired porcelain, its surface adorned with vivid polychrome enamels. The handles are cast in solid brass and finished in an antique-brass patina, shaped as graceful swan-neck forms adorned with foliate and tassel detailing. The raised pedestal base echoes the same antique-brass finish, featuring deeply chased acanthus scrollwork and claw feet for commanding floor presence.

Available as a Set of Three

This cachepot is available in three harmonious sizes, allowing you to create a stunning graduated display in an entrance hall, living room, or conservatory. Each piece in the set shares the same hand-painted composition and brass hardware, ensuring perfect visual continuity.

Brass & Wood Craftsmanship

Every piece is handcrafted in Brass & Wood's Cairo atelier, where artisans apply time-honoured techniques passed down through generations. The result is a statement decorative object that brings the elegance of a 19th-century European salon into any contemporary interior.
