Rooted in the European fascination with Far Eastern aesthetics that swept the courts of the 18th century, this cachepot channels the elegance of Chinoiserie — a Western interpretation of Chinese artistry. Delicate trailing vines, blooming peonies, and botanical sprays rendered in rich cobalt blue drift across a luminous white ground, evoking the grandeur of Qing-dynasty export porcelain as reimagined through a European Neoclassical lens.
The body is crafted from fine porcelain, hand-painted with cobalt-blue underglaze motifs and sealed with a high-gloss glaze for depth and longevity. The handles and footed pedestal base are cast from solid brass and finished in a warm antique-gold patina, adding sculptural weight and Old-World opulence to every silhouette.
Each piece is individually produced in the Brass & Wood atelier in Egypt, where artisans combine centuries-old hand-painting techniques with precision brass casting. The result is a decorative cachepot that functions equally as a planter or a standalone objet d'art — a centrepiece worthy of a drawing room, entrance hall, or conservatory.
Available in a set of three graduating sizes. The largest measures 43 cm wide × 38 cm tall, offering generous planting depth while commanding visual presence in any interior.
