Description

Royal Louis XVI Elegance

This Brass & Wood dining chair is a faithful replica of the Louis XVI neoclassical tradition, distinguished by its shaped cartouche back, gilded floral crest rail, and precisely carved frame that balances grandeur with refined restraint. The chair is available in With Arms and Without Arms arm type configurations to suit every table setting.

Materials & Finish

The solid wood frame is finished in a rich dark brown tone, enhanced by hand-applied gilded accents on the crest, corner rosettes, leg capitals, and apron mouldings. The contrast of warm wood and brilliant gold leaf detailing is quintessential of the period's aesthetic.

Upholstery & Fabric

Both the back panel and the seat are upholstered in a sky-blue ground Gobelin-style tapestry woven with an elaborate floral bouquet motif in ivory and gold tones. The plain border treatment keeps the ornate pattern as the visual centrepiece.

Craftsmanship

Every chair is handcrafted by Brass & Wood artisans in Cairo, combining traditional European joinery with meticulous hand-carving and gilding techniques passed down through generations of master craftsmen.
