Description

Design & Inspiration

Inspired by the refined neoclassical elegance of the Louis XVI era, this Brass & Wood dining chair captures the disciplined symmetry and graceful ornamentation that defined French court furniture of the late 18th century. The arched, rope-twist cresting rail, finial-topped corner posts, and carved rosette corner blocks speak to a tradition of aristocratic refinement.

Materials & Finish

The solid wood frame is finished in a warm antique gold tone, highlighting the hand-carved fluted legs and decorative beading along the seat rail. The front upholstery features a cream damask fabric with a flowing floral pattern, while the back panel is dressed in a deep wine-red velvet, creating a striking two-tone presentation.

Craftsmanship

Each chair is handcrafted by Brass & Wood artisans in Cairo, with meticulous attention to carved detailing — from the twisted rope frieze at the crest to the X-motif side stretchers and reeded column stiles. The upholstery is fitted with a coordinating fabric trim for a polished, palace-worthy finish.

Available Arm Type Options

This configurable chair is available in two arm type variants: With Arms and Without Arms, allowing you to mix seating configurations at your dining table to suit both comfort and aesthetic preferences.
