Rooted in the refined elegance of the Louis XVI period, this dining buffet captures the neoclassical spirit of late 18th-century French court furniture. Symmetrical façades, swag-and-tassel friezes, and medallion corner mounts echo the restrained grandeur that defined the era. Each unit is configured in three bays, with a central and two flanking sections framed by turned column pilasters.
The carcass and door panels are crafted from richly grained hardwood veneers laid in quarter-book-matched patterns, producing a striking flame and feather effect. Brass ormolu mounts — including floral urn escutcheons, acanthus-leaf top rails, and swag friezes — are cast and hand-chased in polished antique gold. Tapered, fluted legs terminate in brass sabots. The interior compartments are lined with the same warm hardwood veneer.
Every piece is handcrafted in Brass & Wood's Cairo atelier by specialist artisans trained in classical European joinery. Marquetry bouquets and foliate cartouches are individually inlaid, and all brass hardware is fitted and adjusted by hand to ensure perfect alignment and smooth operation of hinged doors and drawers.
This buffet is available in widths of 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, and 600 cm, allowing it to be tailored to dining rooms of every scale. Select your preferred width from the variant selector above.
