From the gilded salons of 18th-century France, the Rococo candelabra emerged as the ultimate expression of light-as-theatre. This three-arm candelabra faithfully interprets that tradition — a sculptural conversation between luminous hand-cut crystal and richly cast brass, commanding attention whether lit or unlit. The interplay of candlelight refracting through the faceted crystal column transforms any room into a setting of genuine grandeur, evoking the atmosphere of Versailles or the great Viennese Palais.
The towering column is formed from thick-walled hand-cut crystal, its deeply incised facets catching and scattering light in every direction. A mid-column crystal sphere adds visual rhythm before the base, itself a cast brass composition of bold acanthus scrolls and rocaille flourishes, anchors the entire composition with visual weight. The three curvilinear arms — cast in solid brass using the lost-wax method — sweep outward in the signature S-curves of Rococo vocabulary, each terminating in a fluted tulip cup and a cut-crystal bobeche to catch wax drips. The central finial cartouche framing the arm junction is cast with delicate foliate openwork, a hallmark of the Louis XV period. Every brass surface is hand-finished and polished to achieve a warm, reflective brilliance.
Designed to serve as a dining table centrepiece, mantelpiece statement, or reception hall accent, this candelabra carries the visual weight of a piece far larger than its footprint. The three-arm configuration holds standard taper candles. The crystal bobeches provide practical wax collection while reinforcing the luxurious material palette. At 4 kg, the piece is substantively weighted — a quality that signals authentic craftsmanship and ensures stable display.
Every candelabra is produced in Egypt by artisans trained in the European classical tradition, combining old-world techniques — lost-wax brass casting, hand-polishing, crystal cutting — with the exacting quality standards of Brass & Wood. Available in multiple brass finishes to suit your interior palette, and customisation of candle cup style or crystal configuration is available upon request. As a fragile, handcrafted luxury object, each piece is individually inspected and carefully packaged before dispatch.
This candelabra is constructed from hand-cut crystal and solid cast brass. No wood components are present. The brass is finished by hand and available in Gold, Silver, or Antique Gold variants.
Minimal assembly is required — the crystal column sections and arms are designed to nest together securely without tools. Full assembly instructions are included with each piece.
