Rooted in the grandeur of the Empire style, this Brass & Wood dining table embodies the classical European aesthetic of the early nineteenth century. The ivory-lacquered rectangular top is adorned with an elaborate hand-painted central medallion of intertwined floral garlands and scrollwork, echoing the refined decorative vocabulary of Neoclassical court interiors. A continuous painted floral frieze runs along the apron, bordered by a gilded dentil moulding that reinforces the table's ceremonial presence.
The table is constructed from solid wood, finished in a soft ivory lacquer that provides a luminous, porcelain-like ground for the hand-painted decoration. All carved elements — the column pedestals with acanthus-leaf relief, the sweeping quadruped bases, and the moulded apron — are finished in an antique gold gilding, creating a rich two-tone palette characteristic of Empire-period furniture.
Every surface detail is the work of skilled artisans at Brass & Wood's Cairo atelier. The polychrome floral painting is applied freehand by specialist decorative painters, while the carved pedestal columns and scroll-footed bases are shaped and gilded by hand. The result is a statement dining table that functions equally as a work of decorative art.
This dining table is available in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, and 32 seating capacity variants. Please select your preferred capacity from the option selector above.
