The sweeping rectangular form, enriched with a deeply carved gilded apron adorned with acanthus leaf medallions and continuous frieze motifs, evokes the ceremonial dining halls of European royalty.
Materials & Finish
The base and apron are crafted from solid wood finished in a lustrous gilded paint, highlighting every carved relief with depth and brilliance. The tabletop features an extraordinary hand-laid marquetry surface — intricate scrolling acanthus arabesques and floral sprays inlaid in contrasting wood veneers — sealed under a high-gloss lacquer that protects and illuminates the artwork beneath.
