Swirling acanthus scrolls, shell motifs, and elaborate foliate arabesques cascade across the hand-cast brass pedestal, evoking the gilded salons of Versailles. The contrast between the luminous gold ormolu and the cool grey-veined black marble creates a visual drama that commands attention in any interior.
Materials & Finish
The pedestal and apron are crafted entirely from solid brass, hand-cast and individually chased by Brass & Wood's master artisans in Egypt. Every curl, leaf, and shell detail is finished in a high-polish gold that honours the original ormolu tradition. The circular top and shaped plinth base are fashioned from authentic black marble with natural grey veining, providing a striking counterpoint to the gilded metalwork beneath.
Craftsmanship
