Description

Imperial Grandeur in Every Detail

This exquisite cachepot draws inspiration from the opulent aesthetic of the French Empire period, where East meets West in a breathtaking fusion. The hand-painted porcelain body is adorned with richly coloured pheasants, songbirds, and blooming peonies set against a luminous ivory ground — a motif deeply rooted in the chinoiserie tradition beloved by 19th-century European courts.

Materials & Finish

The body is crafted from fine porcelain, its surface alive with polychrome enamel pigments applied by skilled artisans. Encasing the rim is an ornate geometric border in warm gold, while the gilded solid-brass handles — cast in the form of leafy scrolls — frame the vessel with regal authority. The elevated base is solid brass, finished in lustrous 24-carat gold plate, resting on claw feet that echo the grandeur of Napoleonic interiors.

Available as a Set of Three

The cachepot is offered in a harmonious set of three graduated sizes, allowing for a curated tableau on consoles, dining sideboards, or entrance halls. Each piece is individually hand-finished at the Brass & Wood atelier in Egypt, ensuring no two are exactly alike.

Styling Suggestions

Pair with fresh orchids or trailing ivy for a salon look, or display empty as a sculptural accent. Equally at home in a palatial drawing room or a contemporary interior seeking a bold classical statement.
